    thanks.

  • Michele

    Thanks again

  • Lori Ruff

it would be powerful, not only for local resources (would love to see a bulletin board) but also cross community without too many cross ties. Hope that makes sense. Most times, I need local, but sometimes I need friends in related places!

  • Marti Sladek

How about being able to search by area of expertise and member name: we can’t remember who everyone is who posts an intro, but we might remember someone said they did XYZ; or we might remember meeting someone who said they are in the network and we want more data.

  • Laurel Ziemann

Include a library of reference tools; be able to search by author and subject; include links like to JD Gershbeins (sp?) tools on LinkedIn – do the same for other speakers.

  • Bruce Beddard

I’m still too new to comment. I went to an event nd it was great. I made some very good connections that will help me. The more events the better. The moe I network with the people in the group, the more I will gain their trust.

Love the nnew layout. It finally explains everything.

  • Karen Shabel

Hello! I just joined the group and thought it would be nice to meet everyone to see how best we connect with one another. Would it be possible to have a Meet and Greet once/month – maybe coffee or lunch somewhere? Maybe one of us can talk about their business and bring guests … just an idea. Thanks, Karen

  • Cheryl Kowalski

Looking forward to connecting and helping someone out if I can. I wish I could attend some of these events listed but unfortunatly with my schedule, I am unable to. Maybe down the road I will be open more.

LOVE this site! It is completely userfriendly, the links are perfect, and it combines everything in a easy-to-read format. Good for you!!

  • Karlene Anderson

I’m very interested in these sorts of groups, but feel overwhelmed with all the various invites, and work obligations. Don’t feel I can participate as much as I’d like.

What will the network of the future look like? Hmmm…..

It must combine eye contact with technically based contact.

It will include a relational database allowing all to search for specific needs or to post areas in which one is able/willing to help others. It will include a contact management -like software within that allows us to track communications and trigger next contacts…

It will have an “I’m looking for ________” posting board allowing us to help others quickly or seek contacts ala LinkedIn.

It will have leadership like that which you provide. Thanks!

The business network of the 21st century–flexible and unexpected.

Answer the questions the networkers have through traditional methods: face-to-face meetings, subgroups/masterminds, and the unexpected: tweetups, meetup, hands-on workshops (power hour), online discussions, teleseminars, webinars, charity work.

Find opportunities to put similar groups together and connect, learn, partner, play.

For example, a group of entrepreneurs want to know how to syndicate their social media platforms. Set up a power hour during the regular networking time, with laptops in hand, the instructor (a fellow networker) helps them set up and connect (blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube) their accounts. They get a video email of the power hour and an invite to a more indepth online workshop. The group learns, the instructor showcases her work and may get a new client, and now they have something in common.

The 21st century networking group is about relationships and how these relationships can help one another solve real world/business problems, connect, create referrals, give back.

The networking organization acts like a broker, and creates the environment and method to bring about results.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.

What I do is Internet marketing. I’m looking to do seminars with other companies. To learn and to teach.

How can I invite local businesses and CBO’s to a fundraising event?

This site is a great option for those who want to connect with like-minded individuals. I’m a person looking to truly change lives and add a little relief to households across America. I support a cause to lower energy costs and provide opportunities to the well deserving citizens in the U.S. I believe I will find the right people to help me spread the word and who will make a difference right here on linked local network. Look forward to connecting with you all!
