The Hard Truth about Great Sales Results – Recommended by Mary Lucnik-Garcia

A commercial aired recently for a new set of fitness weights that were “easier to lift.” It didn’t stop there… the commercial also suggested that you didn’t have to spend as much time lifting them in order to get the great results you desire. It is easy to understand why P.T. Barnum said “There is a sucker born every minute.”
We have often heard the expression “work smart, not hard.” While there is some common sense in this common statement, there is also a bit of danger. The truth is that if it were easy to increase and improve sales results a lot more salespeople (including the ones that work for your competitors) would be able to do it on a regular basis (which would then make it more difficult for everyone to hit their number because the bar would have just been raised – go figure!).
The bottom line is this: Effective salespeople are disciplined, intentional, knowledgeable, have strong attitude control, and most importantly, must understand how to connect with people at a deeper level. None of these are all that “easy” to execute.
An alarming amount of sales leaders have recently been frustrated by what they see as a dramatic shift in generational values on work ethic, effort, entitlement, and work/life balance, etc. While their generation “hoofed it,” had a “whatever it takes” attitude, and “burnt the midnight oil,” the new generation (Millennials/Gen Ys) seems to not understand or might seem less interested in doing what it really takes to get great results.

KEY QUESTIONS FOR SALESPEOPLE:
• What are the very most important habits and skills that I need to have razor sharp in order to get great results?
• How do I need to prepare myself for improved results?

KEY QUESTIONS FOR SALES LEADERS:
• Do you have salespeople that fit the generational description outlined above?
• Are your salespeople focused on the right things?
• What do you need to do to get salespeople better results than they could get on their own?

Please join us for this workshop. It will be a great opportunity to begin a conversation that leads to better results for you, your team, and your organization.
